Are you between the ages of 18 and 28 and a resident of Egypt, India, Jamaica, Kenya, Thailand, or Tunisia? Do you want to learn more about climate change issues?
The CIF Youth Fellowship is a one-of-a-kind professional development program that gives young leaders in global climate action practical experience. It will be carried out in collaboration with six of our partners from the Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs): the World Bank, the InterAmerican Development Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the International Finance Corporation are all examples of development banks. It gives Fellows the chance to work on projects involving nature-based solutions, clean energy, climate resilience and adaptation, energy access, and gender and social inclusion.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with the hosting MDBs on real-world projects that are having a tangible effect on the global fight against climate change as a CIF Youth Fellow. You’ll be a part of a diverse and welcoming group of professionals who share your enthusiasm for climate change. Fellows will benefit from professional mentoring, training, and opportunities for networking through the program. You will have the opportunity to gain knowledge from seasoned experts in the field, forge meaningful partnerships, and gain knowledge from climate action on a local level.
CIF Colleagues
– A companion of youthful forerunners in environment activity enthusiastically for environment topical regions pertinent to the Partnership.
– Candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (more information can be found in the appropriate fellowship applications).
Race and ethnicity, gender identities, indigenous peoples, local communities, and other marginalized groups will all be given a fair chance in the program.
Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 28 at the time of application to be eligible.
Candidates with a current work permit who reside in Egypt, Tunisia, Kenya, India, Jamaica, or Thailand.
– Fluency in both the native or local working language and English in the context of the country.
– The ability to write well in both languages.
Fellowship Length:
A one-year program that can be changed from September 1, 2023, to August 31, 2024.
Fellows are expected to work anywhere from 16 hours per week (part-time) to 40 hours per week (full-time).

A stipend that is based on how much it costs to live in Fellowship countries (Purchasing Power Parity).
